- All classes require pre-registration at least 2 weeks prior to class.
- Supply list will be provided for each class upon registration.

Schedule & Registration for Classes
Just in case you didn't know , You can take any of our classes with any make of
sewing machine. ELNA is our preferred machine however, we have sewing experience
on many different makes and models. Some machines have special features that
make some task easier than others. There are many ways and techniques and if you
have a machine that you like and it zig zags!, you will do just fine.

English Smocking 101-
Just
learning or perfecting your stitching skills, this class is for you.
Practice your stitches and techniques then move on to your
project, a bishop, bubble, daygown. Classes are set up so you learn. the stitches, preparing the garment to smock and smocking, and the basic embroidery stitches that you use to embellish
your smocking with along with sleeve treatments.
Beginners
or a good refresher class.

Heirloom Sewing Project (by
machine) -
Recreate this
beautiful dress and bonnet designed by Wendy Schoen for your precious
one! This is one of my favorite dresses from the "Creating Heirlooms for
Baby" book. Learn techniques as: roll and whip, attaching laces &
entredeux, beautiful petite tucks, basic embroidery, attaching yokes,
continuous bound placket, attaching gathered laces and sewing with
netted lace insertion. This dress works well for sizes 6 months to size
4. Bonnet is optional and will be covered in the class.
(Notebook
class recommended as a pre-requisite.)

Heirloom
Sewing Notebook (by machine) -
Complete your own sample notebook in this class. Learn, practice and
create a sample of over 20 different techniques of French machine
sewing. You will document each sample with all the settings and
techniques on guide sheets supplied to you. Everyone finds this notebook
an invaluable tool for all their future heirloom projects.
Great
class for beginners and all who want to enhance their techniques. |

Basic Crochet Edges (by hand) -
Learn and practice 5 basic stitches that can be used to create
beautiful edges for slips, panties, and even beautiful blankets and
other baby gifts. Caution! Crochet trims are very addictive!
Beginners or a good refresher class. |

Construction
Beginnings A-Line Jumpers -
Make a perfect a-line dress!
Great beginnings for pattern layouts to hints for cutting out. Learn how
piping can be used to make your dress a step above normal! We will even
add that cute purse pocket! |

Construction Beginnings Ruffled Pants -
Another fun and easy class. Learn the steps to make perfect
ruffles while making a great pair of pants to go with that perfect
A-Line you made the week before! |

Construction
Bishop Dress- Demonstration class . Bring your notebook and all
your questions. Class will cover from the beginning layout and cutting
instructions, sewing French seams, pleating and then follow through with
complete construction of a Bishop dress.

Shadow Embroidery -
Spend the evening learning and practicing
a beautiful embroidery art of shadow embroidery. |
