"Enchanted
Organdy Easter"
This Dress was made from a basic yoke pattern.
I added a ruffle, grow tucks and
smocked a small area under the yoke. The fabric is Italian Organdy with pink
embroidered Swiss organdy trim for the ruffle around the neck, bottom of sleeves
and the bottom of the dress. Embroidered trim also comes in blue.
A simple
yoke dress with a smocked collar. Fabric for
the dress is Imperial Batiste. Fabric for
the collar is Nelona Swiss batiste. ( Pleated
and Hemstitched collar kit is available to order. Price :$12.00
lace not included) Trims used
are off-white dotted lace and off-white lace beading.

5/8yd off-white lace beading for sleeves 1
1/4yds off-white dotted lace for the sleeves
2yds blue silk satin ribbon for sleeves
2yds off-white dotted lace edging
for collar

Smocking plate: "Reagan Emily" from Classic Smocking by Cheryl
Lohman. Fabric: 27" Swiss Eyelet and 10" matching eyelet for the
sleeves. Pattern: Basic yoke dress with extended back yoke to meet with
the last row of smocking.
"Covered in Rose Buds" The NEW pattern from Children's Corner "Charlotte"
Trimmed in pink whipped piping and white buttons that have
pink bullions embroidered to attach.

sewing for for quite awhile now! She was ask to be a sever at the Camellia Ball
this past Thanksgiving! This dress is an original that I drew up one day, her
grandmother saw my drawing and asked if I would make it.

The dress
under the collar is PBJK's Yoke Dress and Pantaloon pattern (high yoke view). We
left off the sleeves and bound the arms with a bias of the same fabric of the
dress. The dress buttons all the way down the back with 3/4" white plastic
buttons. The fabric is Spechlor Vogel's Pink seersucker check. The
collar is a Hand embroidered hand towel imported from the Madeira Islands.
